Features - Innersafe for Palm Desktop

Palm Pilot Address Book
Easy To Use

A very simple user interface works inside Palm Desktop's main window.

Always Encrypted

Protected files remain encrypted on disk even during active use. Stolen or copied files remain secure, too. Clearly superior to disk encryption software.

Anti-keylogging

Combats multiple keylogging methods. While it is impossible for any software to stop all keylogging methods, you'll be able to block many keyloggers including unknown/future keyloggers.

Application Privacy

Protected files can't be decrypted by other applications. For example, opening Palm Desktop data files using Notepad won't expose your private records.

Protects Both Standard & Third-Party Data

Innersafe for Palm Desktop can protect standard data (.DAT) and third-party application data (.PDB) using strong cryptography. Standard data include:

  • Calendar (Date book)
  • Contacts (Address book)
  • Memos (Memo pad)
  • Tasks (Todos)
  • Expense
  • Note Pad

The Professional Edition can also protect third-party application data (.PDB) during Hotsync.

Detect Unknown Virus Infection

You'll be alerted if anything, such as a virus, modifies your Palm Desktop executable file. There is no need to subscribe or download virus signatures.

Context-Sensitive Security

You decide which activities within Palm Desktop should require authentication. For example, activities such as printing, exporting data, etc.

Optional Logon Prompts

If desired, Innersafe can also require a logon after the protected application has been minimized. This allows you to maintain privacy without exiting the application and losing your place.

Strong Cryptography

Innersafe uses trusted standards including AES, HMAC, PBKDF2, and more. The design and strength of the encryption standards used by Innersafe include those authorized by the National Security Agency (NSA) in June 2003 to protect classified information including SECRET and TOP SECRET levels.
